Kurt Vonnegut on the Shape of Story

Wonderful talk from Vonnegut on story design. He digs deeper into this in chapter 3 of "Man Without A Country," the last book published before his death.

Also: "Here is a lesson in creative writing. First rule: Do not use semicolons. They are transvestite hermaphrodites representing absolutely nothing. All they do is show you've been to college."

Thanks to Christopher Morris for passing this along.
